The town is home to beautiful trails that are ideal for walking or cycling. Explore the various trails and footpaths on foot or by bike throughout the town and beyond with stunning views of the coastline and countryside. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for local birds and other wildlife as the area is a natural hotspot for creatures big and small. The Exe Estuary Trail is a walkers and cyclist’s paradise; a level and mostly flat route, making it suitable for people of all ages and abilities. Exmouth boasts several lovely parks, gardens and nature reserves where you can unwind. The Maer Local Nature Reserve and Manor Gardens offer tranquillity and natural beauty in the heart of the town, whilst Phear Park, located just outside of the town centre is great for kids, boasting a play park and a skate park and plenty of picnic areas; it’s perfect for a free family day out.

Take a stroll through Exmouth and discover its rich heritage, it’s a hotspot for those who are self-confessed history buffs! Throughout the town you might spot a velociraptor, a t-rex or a stegosaur; these dinos are part of Exmouth’s Dinosaur Trail. Or pay a visit to Orcombe Point, home to the giant geoneedle which indicates the start of the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coast.
