Summer Half Term Events in Exmouth 

As the summer half-term approaches, families and adventure seekers alike are gearing up for a well-deserved break. If you're looking for a destination that combines stunning coastal landscapes, charming town vibes, and a plethora of outdoor activities, look no further than Exmouth.

Summer half term in Exmouth occurs from the 27th – 31st May this year and throughout the town and beyond we have a number of fantastic events to partake in! Read on to find out more! 

Jive Talking at Exmouth Pavilion 

Date: 25th May, from 7:30pm 

Renowned at the best Bee Gees tribute band, catch Jive Talking at Exmouth Pavilion on the 26th May. Dance the night away to all the top Bee Gees hits including Night Fever, Tragedy, Stayin’ Alive and more! 

PJ Carter at Exmouth Conservative Club 

Date: 25th May, from 9am 

Travel back in time to the 50s, 60s and 70s with PJ Carter who will be performing a range of top hits from this era! 

Catch him at the Exmouth Conservative Club on the 25th May.   

Devonshire Balloon & Music Festival, Exeter Racecourse 

Date: 25th & 26th May 

The UK’s biggest balloon and music festival is coming to Devon!  

Witness an outstanding display of hot air balloons and enjoy a wide range of music in the ‘Big Top’ tent!  

There’s also thrilling fair rides for the little ones (and grown-ups too!) plus a number of great food and drink stalls selling tantalising meals and beverages.  

If you fancy visiting for the whole weekend, camping is available, but you can also just visit for the day on either Saturday 25th or Sunday 26th May.   

Market Day at Exmouth Pavilion 

Date: 26th May, from 10am – 4pm 

If you enjoy a spot of shopping and love visiting markets head down to the indoor market at Exmouth Pavilion on Sunday 26th May.  

Explore an eclectic range of sellers selling crafts, produce, gifts and more!  

Entry is free, just head down anytime between 10am – 4pm.  

The Mo Joes at The GWRSA 

Date: 26th May, from 8:30pm 

Three-piece, Devonshire band, the Mo Joes will be performing at the GWRSA (Also known as Exmouth Railway Club) on the 26th May.   

Head on down for an evening of classic blues, rock and pop songs from the 60s onwards.   

Half Term Beach Club with Red Rock Outdoor Ltd

Date: 27th – 31st May

If your little ones are fairly adventurous, why not take them to Red Rock Outdoor’s Half Term Beach Club? They can give a number of watersport activities a go, such as kayaking and paddleboarding. Watch your child grow in a supportive environment, building water confidence and refining their abilities.

Located at Orcombe Point in Exmouth, it’s a supervised, safe space for a fun-filled 2-hour session. Suitable for children aged 8 to 15.

Mike’s Big Quiz Night at Exmouth Pavilion 

Date: 29th May, from 7pm  

Back for a third instalment, Mike’s Big Quiz Night returns to Exmouth Pavilion! If you’re someone who boasts a lot of general knowledge, why not put it to good use! 

Tickets are priced at £10pp and includes a meal.   

Royal Opera House: Message in a Bottle at Scott Cinema Exmouth 

Date: 30th May, from 7:20pm 

Message in A Bottle is a spectacular new dance-theatre show, inspired by and set to the iconic hits of 17-time Grammy award-winning artist Sting, including hits such as Every Breath You Take, Roxanne, Walking On The Moon and more.  

Catch it at Scott Cinema Exmouth on the 30th May!  

Bingo Bonkers at Exmouth Pavilion 

Date: 31st May, 7:30pm 

This event is just for the grown-ups! Bingo Bonkers has taken bingo out of the hall and replaced it with comedy, music and more!  

If you happen to have a kid-free night, then this should absolutely be on your list to do!   

The Craving at The GWRSA 

Date: 1st June, from 8:30pm 

 Featuring a range of songs from the rock, soul and blues genres The Craving, a three-piece band, will be performing a fantastic medley of classics at The GWRSA on 1st June.  

If you enjoy bands such as Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stone and The Beatles, this is definitely the event for you!  

Roxy Magic at Exmouth Pavilion 

Date: 1st June, from 7:30pm  

Recreating four decades of music, Roxy Magic offer a fantastic entertaining evening!  

Celebrating their 20 anniversary with this tour, they’re the longest running tribute band to Roxy Music and Bryan Ferry.   

Catch them at Exmouth Pavilion on the 1st June!  

Nine Odd Notes at The Heavitree 

Date: 1st June, from 9pm  

Playing for over a decade, Nine Odd Notes are a fantastic nine-piece band, previously known as The Blues Brother Collective 

Head down to The Heavitree to hear a variety of classic from Amy Winehouse, Madness, James Brown and more!  

The Missin’ Links at The Park Hotel 

Date: 1st June, from 9:30pm 

Experience the best of the 90s with The Missin’ Links!  

Performing at The Park Hotel on the 1st June, head down to hear songs by artists such as Happy Mondays, Oasis, Pulp and more!
