This summer, explore a brand‑new exhibition celebrating the remarkable Grand Tour undertaken by the Parminter cousins, a journey that would ultimately inspire the creation of this extraordinary 16‑sided house with grounds overlooking the Exe estuary.
Until 1 November visitors can explore a beautifully-curated exhibition that brings to life the Parminter women’s extraordinary travels across Europe in the late 18th century.
This immersive display includes souvenirs collected on their travels, an 18th‑century travel book, and the full story of the Parminter Grand Tour, told through objects, diary extracts and illustrations. Plus, discover a playable Grand Tour board game, perfect for families
