The Exmouth to Starcross Ferry runs from Exmouth Marina to Starcross, 7 days a week, from Easter until the end of October. The ferry links up with National Route 2 of the National Cycle Network at Starcross, from where Powderham Castle is easily accessible by foot or by bicycle. Bicycles can be carried on the ferry for a small additional charge.
Topsham Ferry runs across the River Exe, between the landing in Ferry Road, Topsham, and Topsham Lock on the western bank of the river. There is no road access to Topsham Lock but it is on the Exe Valley Way walking route.
Stuart Line Cruises offer a range of trips and services on the River Exe.
A ferry service also runs form Exmouth Marina to the River Exe Cafe.
