If you’re looking to spend the day in Exmouth, there’s a number of ways to arrive here if you’re not already based in the town. Of course you can drive, but we’d highly recommend catching the train to the town centre where you’ll find most of these attractions. The Avocet Line runs between Exeter and Exmouth, hugging the Exe Estuary for most of the way and offering some excellent views. You could even make a game out of it with your little ones by seeing how many different birds you can spot as the area is a haven for migratory birds!
