Arty Boat is a family run Arts & Crafts venue in Exmouth. Running workshops everyday! Our most popular is Wooden Pick & Paint, with daily sessions at 10am, 1pm, 4pm & 7pm. Suitable for any age and ability. Just £5 deposit secures your space which then comes off the price of what you choose to paint on the day. We also have options to include food, hot drinks and alcohol.

Our parent and child sessions are a fabulous way to enjoy quality time together, with a wooden duck for the adult and a little wooden bird for the child

Or book the Teddy Bears Picnic, where you paint a Wooden Bear together and enjoy a lunch We also welcome requests for baby showers, children’s parties, adult parties, hen parties, work nights out and more.

Food and refreshments available including a traditional afternoon tea, Cream Tea, Sweet & Savoury Scones. Get in touch to book

We also have a beautiful range of artistic handmade gifts that have been created by local artists, come and find something truly unique!

We are located in the main town centre, a short walk from the beach, or hop on the bus or train, we are a very short walking distance from both! If driving there is a large public car park directly at the rear

Most workshops have around 4-8 people, however we can accommodate up to 16.

Our opening times vary depending on pre booked events, therefore we ALWAYS recommend you contact us first to book your session date and time . Hours available include 7 days a week between 9am and 10pm

Road Directions:

From the main Exmouth Town Centre, walk along the parade past Boots, Greggs and Mountain Warehouse, then just after you pass Cafe Nero turn right onto Albion Street and we are just a minutes walk up that road

Public Transport Directions:

From Exmouth Train Station, go under the underground passageway, then keep walking in a straight line along the Strand, Past Coffee Cabin, Iceland, Peacocks, then cross the road at the crossing, turn left immediately after you cross to head up Albion Street

From the bus stop in Exmouth Town Centre with Papa Johns on one side of the road and Iceland on the other. Walk up towards Cafe Nero then turn left onto Albion Street.
