On 11th September 2001, 38 aircraft carrying nearly 7,000 passengers were unexpectedly diverted to the small town of Gander, Newfoundland. In the days that followed, the people of Gander opened their homes, schools, churches and hearts to thousands of stranded strangers.

Based on true events, Come From Away tells the remarkable story of a community responding to crisis with generosity, humour and humanity.
