Exmouth Ghost Walk – Tour Description

We’re delighted to announce that Extours is bringing a brand-new Ghost Walk to Exmouth in 2026.

Exmouth is often seen as a place of light, movement and open space — shaped by the sea and the people who have passed through it. But like many coastal towns, it also carries quieter stories tied to loss, departure, and moments that never fully settled. These are the stories we set out to uncover after dark.

Since launching in 2022, Extours has become known for ghost walks that combine careful historical research with genuine paranormal investigation. Each experience is built from local records, firsthand accounts and forgotten details, revealing a side of familiar places rarely explored.

During the walk, guests are guided through Exmouth at night, hearing researched stories at real locations. At selected stops, we pause to explore reported activity using authentic investigation equipment. Participation is optional, allowing the experience to remain thoughtful, immersive and personal.

We believe the most effective ghost walks are grounded and respectful rather than staged, and this approach has earned Extours a strong reputation across the South West.

With the Exmouth Ghost Walk launching in 2026, places will be limited and early booking is recommended once dates are released.qqqq

Walk 1 – 7.30

Walk 2 – 8 – 9.30

Early walks are family-friendly and open to under-16s (recommended age 8+).
Later evening walks are 16+ to offer an adults-only experience.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome on all walks.

Weather

Walks run in most conditions. If severe weather makes the event unsafe, the walk will be postponed and an alternative date offered.

Rooted in local history and authentic storytelling, the Exmouth Ghost Walk offers a distinctive way to experience the town — revealing the stories and mysteries that remain after dark.
