THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Tram Ride at Seaton Tramway returns for Christmas 2026 on selected dates in November and December. This award-winning festive favourite is one of the most popular Christmas events in Devon and attracts families from across the South West and beyond.

Set in the beautiful Axe Valley and Jurassic Coast, The Polar Express™ Tram Ride is a unique way to celebrate the season. Inspired by the classic Christmas film, this immersive event combines theatre, storytelling and festive fun for children and adults alike.

Seaton Tramway has been running THE POLAR EXPRESS™ since 2015 and has transformed its historic single-deck trams into a magical journey to the North Pole. Each year, we welcome thousands of visitors, many of whom return year after year to make it part of their Christmas tradition.

Located in East Devon between Exeter and Lyme Regis, Seaton Tramway allows you to get off at the North Pole, see Santa, his elves, eat food and visit his shop. Booking in advance is essential as places are limited and it’s very popular.
