More information:

Lympstone Manor is an historic Grade II listed Georgian manor house, creatively and comprehensively transformed into a contemporary country house hotel by Michael Caines. Situated overlooking the mouth of the Exe estuary, our 21 luxurious guestrooms and suites that take full advantage of the wonderful situation overlooking the Exe, with charming additional accommodation in 6 shepherd huts situated in secluded woodland at the bottom of the Lympstone Manor vineyard just near the foreshore of the estuary.

With hand-painted original artwork by local artist Rachel Toll as colourful as the birds that inspire each room, our guestrooms embody our vision of luxury, refinement, comfort, quality, and originality. The majority look out on unrivalled panoramic views of the Exe estuary and across the verdant hills of Devon.

Nestled in the woodland overlooking the Lympstone Manor vineyard our Shepherd Huts offer apartment-style living space, intimate, cosy and comfortable, where secluded privacy and nature meet in unrefined luxury.

The Michelin starred restaurant serves Michael Caines’ award winning eclectic cuisine in the fine dining rooms matched by a world class wine cellar of 600 bins.

When the sun is shining, settle down at the Pool House Restaurant and Bar, our casual dining restaurant. This is possibly the best place in the world – or at least in our world – for a sundowner as the sun drops below the Haldon hills. And should it be raining, you can stay snug inside enjoying our casual dining menu and fine local drinks.

The Lympstone Manor vineyard was planted in May, 2018 with 17,000 pinot noir, meunier and chardonnay vines. Our flagship wine is the Lympstone Manor Cuvée and our estate wines include Lympstone Manor Estate 2020 Triassic Pinot Noir, Lympstone Manor Estate 2022 Isabeau Rose and Lympstone Manor Estate 2022 Edwards Chardonnay. We have recently launched our premium gin and eau de vie de marc. We are proud to have won recognition from esteemed judges, sommeliers, and wine connoisseurs alike.

Lympstone Manor has 28 acres of gardens, grounds and parkland. There is a tennis court, outdoor heated swimming pool and pool house, and a Sculpture Walk. Located on the edge of Exmouth, just 20 minutes from Exeter, capital of Devon, it offers tranquillity and beauty from its position overlooking the tidal Exe estuary. It is also a perfect base from which to explore East Devon and the Jurassic Coast (a UNESCO World Heritage site), or west to Dartmoor and the South Hams.

Lympstone Manor is a proud member of Relais and Châteaux.
