Under the Radar sometimes do indeed stay unnoticed by the public at large, but they still remain one of Devon’s best-kept musical secrets: four musicians all living in the east of the county, all with previous big-city experience in other bands, and all sharing a huge passion to keep music “live and alive” for audiences in the south-west of England. Imagine a virtual juke-box containing music from the 1970s up to the present day where you can press a button with “shuffle” on it, and you have some idea of an Under the Radar live show. Literally anything can come at you, from pop to funk, rock to reggae, soul to disco, so this is never a band stuck in a single groove on the same old record. It is also probably the main reason why Under the Radar is able to deliver to almost any audience, from pubs and clubs, to weddings and private functions, and why it invariably always gets invited back to “play it again”.
