Paul Strange Organisation, Blue Note Jazz at Pavilion Café

Enjoy the cool sounds of classic Blue Note jazz for free with this Sunday afternoon jazz session in the Pavilion Café bar.

Featuring locally based jazz quartet the Paul Strange Organisation (PSO), they’ll be playing a mix of Blue Note standards, including Miles Davis’s ‘All Blues’, Kenny Burrell’s ‘Chitlins Con Carne’ and Joe Zawinul’s ‘Mercy, Mercy, Mercy’, plus Hammond groove classics such as Booker T’s ‘Green Onions’ and ‘Time is Tight’ and a few originals.

As well as Paul Strange (Hammond organ and piano), PSO also features Marcus Burton (guitar), Tim Pilling (bass) and Richard Glazebrook (drums).
PSO will be performing in an up close Café bar setting, so prepare to chill out with a Sunday afternoon of very cool music.
