Nine Odd Notes at GWRSA

The Nine Odd Notes, are a 9 piece unit, who have been together for over 10 years, playing R&B, Ska and Soul Funk, with a little twist, also known previously as ‘The Blues Brothers Collective’.

We have some amazing vocals, performing classics by Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin, Madness, Dexys Midnight Runners, Imelda May, James Brown, Celo Green plus many others, backed by the tight brass section, drums, bass, keyboards and guitar, giving an energetic fusion of funk, soul, rhythm and blues, check out our ‘mytracks’ section, many more to be included

The evenings will be jumping all night long, performing musical treats, such as Lady Marmalade, Big Bad Handsome Man, Take me to the River, Show Me, Respect, Enjoy Yourself, Simmerdown, Harlem Shuffle and Flip, Flop, Fly, plus many more, like Monkey Man and Land of a 1000 Dances, too many to mention.
