Devon General Remembered based at Imperial Road Exmouth – FREE

We are returning to Exmouth for our 2025 ‘Devon General Remembered’ running day, on Sunday 31st August.

Based at Imperial Road in Exmouth, our event will feature preserved Devon General buses running free services around the town and to local destinations such as Budleigh Salterton. Weather permitting, there will also be an open-top bus tour. The Devon General Society sales stand will be present, selling bus books, magazines, photos and memorabilia, and our Membership stand will enable you to find out more about the DGS and to join us if you wish.

A souvenir programme will be available in advance and on the day, giving details of the timetables and the buses operating them – look out for further information about this. Vehicle entries are by invitation only and owners will be contacted soon.

A free feeder bus will run to the event from Exeter. Exmouth is easy to reach by public transport, with the main town centre bus stops and the railway station just a short walk from Imperial Road. There is also car parking nearby and plenty of cafes and shops. Public toilets are located next to the railway station.
