Copperfield at The Blackmore Theatre

Our production of Copperfield! is an adaptation and abridged version of David Copperfield, a Charles Dickens novel chronicling the life of its titular character from birth to adulthood.

The story follows his difficult childhood under a cruel stepfather, his eventual escape to his eccentric great-aunt, his schooling, his first marriage to Dora, and his eventual marriage to his childhood friend Agnes after Dora’s death.
