Drive Devon is a brand new adventure for owner Ross. A lifelong car enthusiast, he has owned all sorts of “interesting” cars over the years. Having moved down to Devon with his young family a few years ago, Ross wanted to create a business and turn that passion into something he could build himself and enable others to enjoy too! Drive Devon is all about the fun of driving a simple open top sportscar, no fancy toys, not much technology, just the open road, roof down and enjoying the beautiful scenery of Devon. Road Directions

Drive Devon is conveniently located just off the main A30 trunk road in the quaint little town of Ottery Saint Mary, near Exeter and 10 minutes from the main M5 motorway junction. Based in  East Devon, our location is the gateway to lots of great country roads, stunning seaside locations such as Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and Exmouth and routes further into Somerset, Devon (including Dartmoor and Exmoor), Dorset and just over an hour from beautiful Cornwall.

Public Transport

If you are planning on coming by train we can collect you from either nearby Feniton or Whimple train stations on the Waterloo to Exeter railway line or from Exeter airport. We can also suggest reliable local taxi companies to get you from nearby Exeter Saint Davids Train station (there is also a bus to Ottery Saint Mary) and there is a good bus link from Bristol Airport to Exeter also.

Pricing Details

We charge a day rate of £120 for 24 hours rental, this includes your insurance. If there are any additional insurance costs, these will be paid for by the hirer (for example if you have points on your license or have had recent motor insurance claims, the insurance cost may be higher). We reserve the right to refuse hire if you do not meet our insurers criteria or we have concerns about your eligibility to hire one of our cars.

Opening Times

We’re open all year round. Our office hours for enquiries and bookings are generally Monday – Saturday 09:00-17:00, but we may also answer emails outside of those hours.
